The Jury will be split into panels and will read and pre-score all allocated entry forms, considering any supporting materials submitted. The jury pre-scores will be combined and the highest scoring entries will determine the shortlists.
The Jury will meet to discuss the highest scoring entries and then agree on the winner for each category. The shortlists of Technique and Special Awards category will be announced by August. Please note there will be no shortlists announced for Individual In-house or Individual Consultancy categories. The winners will be announced at the awards ceremony in September.
Please note that none of the jury member will enter their organisation entries.
WHAT WILL THEY KEEP IN MIND
TECHNIQUE & SECTOR CATEGORY
The Jury will be looking for clear objectives, creative and effective implementation and tangible and demonstrable results in the campaign award categories. They will also consider the structure, presentation and clarity of each entry.
Few questions specify a word limit. These should not exceed 1000 words in total and should relate to work undertaken between April 2017 – March 2018.
Please consider your entry title very carefully as we will use your exact wording on the award, should you win. Concise and to the point is always best!
Each entry must include information under the following headings:
Objective & budget
Target audience & strategy
Implementation & creativity
Results & evaluation – please ensure these relate directly to your objectives
Why your entry should win?
Any entries that does not include information under all of these headings will be marked down. Please upload a company logo and / or campaign image along with your entry and a maximum of three supporting materials.
CONSULTANCY/IN-HOUSE PROFESSIONAL CATEGORIES
The Jury will be looking for an expert who has mastered the domain they are representing. They will look for knowledge gathered by the nominee and the way it has been used in last one year creatively.
Specific questions should be answered in 1000 words in total and should relate to work undertaken between April 2017 – March 2018. Nominees for PR consultancy individuals must be born on or before December 31st, 1980 and In-house professional must be born on or before December 31st, 1977.
Please note entries can be self nominated or nominated by a third party or a client or consultancy. Only thing to remember is that the judges are not looking for CVs.
SPECIAL AWARDS CATEGORIES
The Jury will be looking for teams and consultancies that can demonstrate an ongoing and sustained commitment to delivering best practice while showing a creative and innovative approach to PR. The Jury will also consider the structure, presentation and clarity of each entry. Specific answers should not exceed 1500 words in total and should focus on work completed April 2017 – March 2018.
Each entry must include information under the following headings in maximum of 1500 words:
Details of the team / consultancy
Team / consultancy goals and objectives
Recent campaign and work examples
Why your team / consultancy should win
Any entries that do not include information under all of these headings will be marked down.
